Certificate in Psychological Counselling Studies
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION
Applicants for this course must have either:
An approved professional qualification and appropriate experience in a relevant field
Or
Evidence of previous study and experience that accepts as qualifying the candidate for entry to the course i.e. K.C.S.E with Min. grade: D+ or two years working experience in teaching, social work, health or any other helping profession.
Together with:
a) Evidence of a capacity for sustained self-directed study
b) Ability for clear written exposition of information and argument
c) A willingness to work experientially as a member of a small group
d) Ability to challenge and increase awareness of ‘self’
e) English language proficiency
Diploma in Psychological Counselling Studies

Higher Diploma in Psychological Counselling Studies
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION
Applicants for this course must have either:
An approved professional qualification and appropriate experience in a relevant field
Or
Evidence of previous study and experience that accepts as qualifying the candidate for entry to the course i.e. PDVCT Diploma or Certificate in Counselling Studies.
Together with:
a) Evidence of a capacity for sustained self-directed study
b) Ability for clear written exposition of information and argument
c) A willingness to work experientially as a member of a small group
d) Ability to challenge and increase awareness of ‘self’
e) English language proficiency
